My Portfolio
Welcome to my engineering and development portfolio! 🎉
I graduated from Harvard Univerity in 2019 with a degree in Government and a desire to help those around me. After several years in various education-related roles, I decided I wanted a different kind of challenge, and began to explore software engineering. I quickly discovered a new talent and a passion for using that talent to solve interesting problems.
In January 2021 I enrolled in an online computer science class called CS50, and since then have developed, on my own and on a team, multiple full-stack applications written in Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript that have implemented decision-tree algorithms, integrated with a variety of cloud services on AWS, and demonstrated my proficiency with technologies and frameworks like Node, React, SQL and no-SQL databases, and design & implementation of data abstraction layers.
Through the CS50 online course, I became skilled in C, Python, and Javascript, and completed assignments covering the analysis and implementation of algorithms, methods for effective use and querying of relational databases, and other foundational computer science concepts. Since then I have enrolled in a full-time intensive software engineering fellowship at General Assembly, where I turned the technical foundation I built in CS50 into a wide array of skills pertaining to the design and development of full-stack software products, and several full-stack applications including a Tweet management and archival app that has been approved for elevated access to Twitter’s developer platform and is publicly available.
